BIKING TO ORDRUPGAARD
Take your bike with you on the S-train or Kystbanen to Klampenborg St. It’s free to bring your bike on the S-train and at certain times on Kystbanen. You can also rent a bike at Café Parforce, which is located at Klampenborg St. The bike ride is 3 km long and takes about 11-15 minutes.

Ordrupgaard is located close to Denmark’s most visited natural area, Dyrehaven, offering you the opportunity for a beautiful bike ride through the lush surroundings. Go through the red Klampenborg gate into Dyrehaven and bike through the forest. Along the way, you’ll pass Kildesø and Fuglesangssø, and you might even spot deer among the trees.
By bike or on foot through Ordrup’s beautiful architecture
For those interested in architecture, the route through Ordrup town is perfect when visiting Ordrupgaard. Along the way, you will cross the beautiful and peaceful Ordrup Cemetery, after which you will pass four houses designed by the world-renowned architect Arne Jacobsen. At the end of the route, you can get a glimpse of Finn Juhl’s house on your left hand as a little teaser before you visit the museum.

By bike through Ermelunden and along quiet residential streets
If you enjoy a bike ride in green surroundings, the route from Lyngby St. is a lovely experience. The bike ride from the station takes you along quiet residential streets and paths through the forest, Ermelunden. It’s a beautiful, green ride, but with fewer people to share the view with compared to the ride through Dyrehaven. The ride is about 5 km long and takes approximately 18-23 minutes.
