Henry Krokatsis

The work of British artist Henry Krokatsi often revolves around religious topics. Born to a Greek Orthodox father and a Jewish mother, he himself practices Taoist meditation. Working with an array of materials ranging from recycled wood, antique mirrors and leaded windows to candle stumps and smoke, he always challenges viewers – whether by hanging an inaccessible pulpit up a tree or, as is the case of Ordrupgaard, invites us to enter a confessional.
