Free admission – the event takes place in Ordrupgaard’s Art Park

On Saturday 23 August, we invite you to celebrate Children’s Day at Ordrupgaard – a fun-filled day of play, art and creative activities for the whole family.

In the Art Park, you can meet Lykke Sand Michelsen who, inspired by readings from the book Kender du hende?, will guide children and other creative spirits in making sculptures in an outdoor workshop.

Ordrupgaard’s park is a vast artistic playground: touch the artworks, climb the bamboo tower Geometry of Innocence, play in Water Pavilion Ordrupgaard and explore the park’s many hidden corners. Guided family tours will be offered throughout the day.

The museum café will serve special child-friendly treats, which can be enjoyed on site or taken away for a picnic in the park.

Indoors, you can visit Djurberg & Berg: Stop-motion Studio, where you can create your own stop-motion films. Please remember to bring your own phone and, if possible, download the Stop Motion Studio app in advance – so you’ll be ready to start filming as soon as your figures are complete.
