The Age of Impressionism

The catalogue is about Ordrupgaard’s impressive collection of French art created during and after World War 1 and bequeathed to the Danish State in 1952. The catalogue was drawn up for the American exhibition about Ordrupgaard’s collection that was held in three different American museums in 2002 – The Metropolitian Museum of ...Art in New York, the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. In addition to the French artworks the catalogue also presents a selection of works from Ordrupgaard’s collection of Danish art.
